DESCRIPTION: Large shawl box in Boulle marquetry of brass and mother-of-pearl on an ebony veneer ground. Beautiful marquetry at the corners, central cartouche with monogram. Rosewood interior with two small drawers.
The box is signed on the lock by Théodore Année, a renowned tabletier from the second half of the 19th century.
