Large jewellery box in brass Boulle marquetry on a fruitwood ground. Large cartouche on the lid, ciphered with the coat of arms of the Lefranc family (Avallon), with gilt bronze ornamentation including 4 bronze feet and two handles. Interior with 6 removable compartments. Box composed of several fruitwoods such as thuya burl, rosewood, ebony veneer.
