Two-door Boulle marquetry cabinet

DESCRIPTION: Beautiful two-door cabinet from the Napoleon III period, featuring Boulle marquetry of brass on an ebony veneer ground.
Significant marquetry with motifs of figures, foliage, volutes, and interlace, present on the doors, pediment, and rounded sides.
Very fine ornamentation of gilt bronzes with upper and lower mounts, central motifs on the sides framed by spandrels and flat ingot molds, ingot molds on the doors and around the perimeter of the cabinet.
Mahogany interior with two shelves. White Carrara marble top.

All bronzes are signed by the foundry of Auguste Delafontaine (AD).
