Three-material Boulle marquetry cabinet

DESCRIPTION: Beautiful Napoleon III period cabinet with two detached columns adorned with 'asperges' and 'lingotières', rich ornamentation of gilt bronzes with 'lingotières', spandrels, Corinthian capitals on the columns, rings, and motifs on the sides.
It is above all the marquetry that impresses on this cabinet, with a full door adorned with bouquets, swirling interlaces, flowers, foliage, volutes, and beautifully engraved brass parts. Double framing fillets.
The marquetry is composed of mother-of-pearl, bone, and brass, on an ebony veneer background.
Mahogany interior with two shelves.
White Carrara marble top.
