Empire Napoleon gilt bronze borne clock circa 1810

Borne clock in gilt bronze with mercury gilding (ormolu), a rare borne model depicting an allegory of Time, with the god Chronos, father of the hours and the personification of time. A magnificent quality of chasing that would no longer be found in the decades that followed.
White enamel dial with Roman numerals, Paris movement in working order, strikes the hours and the half-hours; pendulum, key & bell available
Very fine state of preservation, this clock is over 200 years old!
