Large Napoleon III Régence Boulle marquetry cartel clock

Large Régence style cartel clock, Boulle-style marquetry with brass inlays on a brown tortoiseshell ground: very fine quality of chasing. Gilt bronze ornaments with a cassolette on the surmount. Opens at the front and at the back, the interior also inlaid with marquetry.
Paris movement in working order, strikes the hours and the half-hours, bronze sunburst pendulum + key available.
Fitted with 3 glass panels, 2 at the sides and one in the front door: the latter is currently being made but will be installed shortly
