Late 19th-century oil on canvas
€390
Portico clock on 4 columns, the front ones round with bronze “asperge” ornaments and the rear ones rectangular. Carrara marble & numerous mercury-gilt (ormolu) bronzes. Very fine model with an intact dial signed Le Roi à Paris, bronze hands as well. 18th-century movement with silk-thread suspension: it runs very well, strikes the hours & half-hours, sunburst pendulum and key available.
Note that the gilding is somewhat faded on the eagles on the cresting, otherwise excellent overall condition, fine proportions
