Napoleon III Boulle display cabinet

Side cabinet or low cabinet in ebonized wood & Boulle-style marquetry with brass fillets & brass cartouches on a red tortoiseshell ground. Very fine gilt bronze ornaments: masks, border mouldings & corner mounts depicting Bacchus.
Glazed door opening onto a rosewood-coloured interior with one shelf (not shown in the photos), working lock & key. Original ebonized wood top, without marble.
