Violin-shaped table in Boulle résille & mother-of-pearl marquetry, DIEHL

Sumptuous violin-shaped centre table, Boulle-style marquetry of brass résille lattice & mother-of-pearl on the top and around the entire apron. Opens with a drawer with mahogany interior; fine, thick gilt bronze ornaments.

An identical model was sold by the gallery 10 years ago, and it was signed by the house of DIEHL in Paris; this one is not, but you will appreciate that it is readily attributable to this renowned cabinetmaker.

Currently under restoration, it may be reserved immediately; for the moment availability is in August.
