DESCRIPTION: Beautiful flat desk with pull-out slides from the Napoleon III period.
Significant ornamentation of gilt bronzes with ingot molds, motifs on the sides and spandrels, keyholes, sabots, asparagus, decorative gallery on the central drawer.
4 drawers in the frieze (one double on the right). The other side is treated in trompe l'œil, to allow it to be positioned in the middle of a room, with a beautiful bronze motif framed by spandrels.
Very pretty Louis XVI style model.
Black covering with gilt tooling (fleurons, banding and central motif).
