Louis XV style desk, ebonized wood and Boulle-style brass marquetry on a red tortoiseshell ground over the entire surface, apart from the band of the top and the inner faces of the legs. Very fine gilt bronze ornaments; opens at the front with a wide mahogany-lined drawer with a secret opening.
